An unusual find from Miu Miu's A/W 1999 collection, this jacket combines mid-century modernist precision with sport-inspired features. The result is subtly unconventional and inherently playful, capturing the label's idiosyncratic approach. The piece is crafted from lamb shearling (reversed fur), a soft and delicate material with a smooth texture. Its natural variations offset the jacket's precise silhouette, with large yokes, defined shoulders and trim sleeves.

The jacket features various unusual details that are worth exploring. The front closes with pressed calf leather buttons and the closure is reinforced with nylon grosgrain tape. All panels are sewn with exaggerated zig-zag stitching inspired by the construction of wetsuits. There are two pockets with large single welts and the sleeves have three-button cuffs. The back has a single vent and is finished with an oversize martingale that gives the jacket effortless charm. The interior is unlined.
